Q. DO YOU CHARGE TO DIAGNOIS?

A. Yes, we have a standard diagnostic fee, this is for the time we spend to find and verify your problems. 

Q. CAN YOU JUST HOOK UP TO THE TOOL AND TELL ME WHAT IS WRONG?

A. No- There is some confusion when it comes to the ability of a factory scan tool. Yes, it helps us to read diagnostic codes that your car can or has produced when there is a failure. These codes help us with were to start looking, it does not mean that part necessary is the cause of the failure. Part of our reasoning on charging a diagnostic charge is that we take the time to test a component to make sure it is what your vehicle needs to run properly.

Q. DO YOU DO EMISSIONS TESTING?

A. No, our area does not have emissions standards and is not registered with the state of Illinois. Visit http://illinoisairteam.net/testing-station-locator/ to find a location. 

Q. DO YOU NEED AN APPOINTMENT?

A. Yes, we work only by appointment only.

Q. CAN YOU PROGRAM A KEY OR COMPUTER WITHOUT THE CAR?

A. No, you must have the car here to program any computers or keys. 

Q. CAN I BRING MY OWN PARTS IN?

A. No, we don’t allow bringing in your own parts, in many cases, bringing in your own parts can actually cost you more money in the long run. We do make some exceptions to this for specific items and cars.



Q. DO YOU HAVE LOANER CARS OR CAN TAKE ME HOME?

A. Sorry we do not have loaner or the ability to take customers home. We do offer a key drop box for afterhours drop offs. We are also happy to arrange an Uber /Lyft, we will apply the cost to your invoice.
